DESCRIPTION:The Geauga County Democratic Party will host their monthly Spaghetti Dinner served with a Hot Topic “Right to Work Law” on Thursday\, March 22nd at the Geauga County Democratic Headquarters and Social Hall located at 12420 Kinsman Road\, Newbury\, OH 44065. Doors open at 5:45 p.m. for Networking\, Dinner served at 6:15 p.m. and Hot Topic begins at 7:00 p.m. $10.00 donation suggested. \nJoin in a conversation with Ohio Education Association’s Vice President Scott DiMauro about the impact of Right to Work on lower wages and benefits that impact not only education but all industries. \nScott DiMauro\, a high school social studies teacher from Worthington\, became OEA Vice President in 2013. Prior to becoming a full-time OEA officer\, Scott served for nine years as President of Central OEA/NEA\, and has experience as president of his local\, a member of his local bargaining team\, chairperson of Central’s leadership and professional development programs\, and political action coordinator. He also led the NEA Legislative Committee for three years. He chairs the OEA Legislative Committee and works with OEA’s Government Relations staff to represent educators in the legislature and State Board of Education. \nAdditional parking is available on the far eastern side of the plaza.
