Author Bob Grau at Randolph and Streetsboro Libraries
Author and Appalachian hiker Bob Grau will be speaking at two of the Portage County District Library’s branches on Saturday, September 21. Grau will speak at the Randolph branch at 10:30 a.m. in the Randolph Community Center behind the Library at 1639 State Route 44, Randolph, OH 44265.
Later that day, he will speak at the Streetsboro branch at 2:00 p.m. in their meeting room at 8990 Kirby Lane, Streetsboro, OH 44241. Both presentations are free and open to the public.
Grau will recount his 2,181 mile adventure from Georgia to Maine. During his life-changing journey of 170 days, he hiked the last 380 miles with a broken ankle. Hear his unusual story and see photos of his 14-state trek.

The Randolph library is open on Mondays and Tuesdays from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The library is closed on Thursdays and Sundays.
The Streetsboro Library is open on Mondays and Tuesdays from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The library is closed on Thursdays and Sundays.
Fall Storytime Registration Begins August 26
Portage County District Library is pleased to announce that fall storytime registration will begin Monday, August 26 at branch libraries.
