After the devastating fire March 22, 2014, Pam Montgomery wrote a book as a fundraiser for Garrettsville Fund.
The book is being printed by The Weekly Villager and is currently available for Pre-Sale. After printing expenses are met, 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the #GarrettsvilleStrong Fund.
The book, GarrettsvilleStrong Past, Present and Future, has 5 Chapters:
- “History of Buckeye Block,” in which the author traced each business back as far as she could
- “Main Street is On Fire,” which has numerous pictures with narration by Rich Teresi, the fire department photographer. It also has follow-up reports and pictures of the fire trucks with a description of each.
- “We Salute You,” which has numerous pictures of cards, posters and thank you’s to the fire
department. - “Memories,” which are from the public of the Buckeye Block.
- “Recovery,” which tells where the businesses are now and plans for the future.
Books are $25 each and can be picked up at the Villager in Garrettsville.
If you would like your copy mailed to you, please add and additional $3.50. You can make out checks and mail them to:
