The Portage Park District will be performing our annual bike & pedestrian trail user counts to find out how much our Portage Hike & Bike Trail is used in the Fall season. We use the data to inform our applications for grants regarding improvement & lengthening of trails & submit the information to the National Bike & Pedestrian Project as input for national trail use statistics.

The counting locations are along the Portage Hike & Bike Trail in Franklin & Ravenna townships within Portage County under the jurisdiction of Portage Park District.

Sept. 18, 2016 2:00 pm -4:00 pm at three different trail locations with two (2) people at each location: Two (2) locations in Franklin Township, and One (1) location in Hiram township
