Helping to Rebuild Garrettsville!
As many of you have heard by now, our small town of Garrettsville was devastated by a fire on Saturday, March 22. The Buckeye Building was built in the 1850’s and housed 13 fantastic local businesses. While no one was hurt, the loss of the building and businesses has been tough to digest. If you were at the winery on a Friday or Saturday night, you may have had the chance to visit with a couple of the business owners impacted by the fire. These owners were friends, volunteers and were like family to us.
So as we put the loss behind us, Candlelight Winery is looking towards the rebuilding process. We have a number of events in the works to benefit the efforts and hope you are able to join us! If you are looking to help in other ways outside of the winery, please check out this website.

Live Music and Food Drive for this Saturday, March 29
Shortly after word spread of the fire, I received this message from this weekend’s musician – Jonathan Browning acoustix:
“If anyone would like to bring any non-perishable food items to my performance this Saturday 3/29 to assist with the Food Bank that was destroyed, I will gladly see that they- and any tips I receive this evening- be channeled through the Winery to the appropriate relief orgs.”
Our goal is to pack 10 wine cases with food and get $500 in tips!! The show starts at 7:30 and will kick off the rest of our fundraising efforts! Be sure to join us this Saturday!!
Rebuilding Garrettsville one shopping spree at a time!
Join us for an evening of shopping and laughs – all while raising money for Garrettsville! Friday, April 4, from 6:30 – 8:30 pm the winery will become your own shopping center! We have eight vendors set up to sell you their fantastic products in time for Mother’s Day and graduations! Plus take the chance to win an amazing door prize!
Bring in a non-perishable item and receive an extra raffle ticket! Proceeds from the door prizes will be donated to the rebuilding Garrettsville efforts!

Don’t forget we are open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 3 pm – 9 pm and Saturdays from 1 pm – 10 pm.
You are more than welcome to bring your own food, we just ask that we supply all beverages.
