In case you missed the previous announcement by the Edinburg Fire Department, they were awarded two grants. These grants allowed them to replace their aging cardiac heart monitors with new ones and equip their ALS (Advanced Life Support) ambulances with power cots.
The FEMA grant money totaled $68,012 which they put toward the purchase of two Lifepak 15 monitors. Now both squads are equipped with these state of the art devices.

The State of Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation grant provided each of the ALS ambulances with new power cots.

And here’s Sparky (pictured at the top of this page)! He was proudly posing in front of the department’s newly equipped ambulance at the recent Cops and Bobbers event on June 14, 2014.
Edinburg….please rise and applaud!
