It’s that time of year again!

The Hiram “Fill-a-Police Car” food drive is once again seeking to collect non-perishable food items that help stock the shelves at the 4C’s Food Cupboard that helps our area families in need. The director of the food cupboard recently told Chief Ed Samec that with the summer months here, the food on the shelves is going fast due to the kids being out of school and families needing more food. “Let’s come together and help our community neighbors on July 12,” says Chief Samec.

This being a pet adoption event as well, there will be many pet rescue groups on hand with many adoptable fur babies looking for forever homes. “We have rescues and foster groups from all over northeastern Ohio confirmed to be at the event,” says Ed, an avid supporter of rescues and shelters.

Rollin’ Smoke BBQ will be serving their excellent menu items, so no one has to go away hungry!

This is a day of fun with a purpose. Bring non-perishable food items to support local needy families. Stay for the Martial Arts and Police K-9 Demonstrations. Mark your calendars now! TEAM HIRAM!
