Shopping at It’s All Fine in Ravenna, a vintage and second hand store, is like going on a mystery journey that ends with a treasure (or ten)! You may think you have a destination you want to arrive at, but all of a sudden you find yourself on a completely different trail as you traverse through the racks and shelves, nooks and crannies, and then stop to admire the scenery decorating the walls. It’s a journey I highly recommend!

As if that weren’t enough to keep us busy, the store has recently added yet another dimension for us to explore – consignment items!

“Consignment gives us the opportunity to have a constant supply of new items in our inventory,” says Emily who has worked in the store for two and a half years, “and also allows us to branch out from offering only vintage items.”

The consignment items will be placed throughout the store, which will make your adventure there even more exciting as you happen upon them.

Are you looking to make a little extra money?
I know…of course you are! Who isn’t these days! Here’s a great opportunity for you as well.
“The items that we will accept vary depending on demand, season, and available retail space. We do not buy anything outright, we pay a percentage after an item sells. Our contract period is 90 days and our payouts are 50/50 for clothing and accessories (shoes, purses, scarves, hats, belts, etc.) and 60/40 (60 to the consignor) for everything else,” explains Emily. “Right now we are looking for clothing, furniture, collectibles, and electronics. We are NOT accepting glassware right now.”

Clothing and accessories must be no more than two years old, in season, clean, and have no holes, rips, stains, etc. Jewelry must be in ready-to-sell condition, and everything else must be in at least good condition. Please be sure all electronics are in working order!

Consignment is by appointment only. If you have items you think they may be interested in, contact the store ahead of time to make an appointment with Emily or Brittany.

Making a Difference
Another thing that makes It’s All Fine a very unique shop is the employees who work there. This shop is connected to Leeda Northeast, an organization that provides supports, including job training, for developmentally disabled individuals in several counties. It’s All Fine has helped many of these individuals gain independence and become contributing members of their communities. “Many of these clients will be helping with all the steps involved in processing a consignment contract from beginning to end,” says Emily. “For example, they will help sort and clean items, hang clothing, tag the items and place them on the sales floor.”

Whether you are a shopper or a consignor, It’s All Fine is a place where giving and receiving go hand in hand. Make it a part of your next trip to Ravenna, and talk to Emily about what you might be able to offer to help keep this shop thriving. And while you’re there, be sure to visit the newly added clearance section as well!
