No matter what angle you view Mickey from his ears are always perfect circles. Even in 3-D pictures of Mickey, the animators always make sure to keep his ears round no matter what angle you view him from.
- Do you Know Dippy Dawg?
The original name of the popular Disney character Goofy was Dippy Dawg who later became known as George Geef before he got his now common nickname. Mickey’s original name was Mortimer Mouse.
- Alexis Texas Was Beat Out by Hannah Montana
One of Disney’s most successful live-action shows, Hanna Montana first debuted with Miley Cyrus in 2006. Although it took awhile for the name to stick, other name options included Alexis Texas.
- Donald Duck Once Played A Nazi
In a 1943 short called ‘Der Fuehrer’s Face, Donald Duck played the role of a Nazi. It even won the academy award for best Animated Short Film in the same year it was released.
- Two Abandoned Disney Theme Parks Exist
The first is Discovery Island, which closed in 1999, and the second is River Country which closed in 2001. The parks were never demolished and the reason they were closed remains a mystery.
- Disney Character Cameos
In Disney’s “Frozen”, Repunzel and Flynn are briefly in one scene while Mickey can be found in another. Lady and Tramp are found in 101 Dalmatians. And there are many, many more character cameos.
