In the Kitchen with Sheryl
I do not know anyone that does not love chocolate chip cookies. My brother in law Tim makes some of the best! You can be certain something will be going on in the kitchen when the grandchildren visit or when he is visiting them. The grandchildren and Tim always have a great time together measuring and mixing. Tim’s great love for cooking and baking is as endless as his love is for his family. This recipe is easy to make. Just be sure to have a strong arm near by for mixing if needed! I use my husband Duane, and the job is effortless. Share some with your family!
Tim’s Famous Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 sticks of butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 box instant vanilla pudding
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt and 1 tsp vanilla (I always add extra)
1 pkg. choc chips
2 1/4 cups flour
Mix butter, sugars and dry pudding together–beat in the eggs–add salt, vanilla, and soda
Stir in chips and last of all the flour
Bake at 350–until light brown–don’t make them too big–mix gets very stiff.
Tim’s suggestion for me: You will need a strong mixer (or Duane)
*Special Thanks to my brother-in-law Tim for allowing me to share this recipe with all of you.
