Remember all those fun weeks of summer you had away at camp when you were a kid? All the new experiences you encountered whether nature activities, athletics, or specialized single focus camps? Whatever the choice,  you came home with a thousand new memories and lots of great friends – some you probably still are in contact with today. And for many – it changed the course of their loves.

Why not look into some local camps for your child for this summer? Let them have the time of their lives as well. Besides – don’t you think they should get away from all the techie things that keep them indoors so much of the year!  Show them the door – tell them “You WILL have fun,” and blow them a kiss!

Here are a couple for starters. We will publish more next Tuesday – so stay tuned! Call the camp and ask for more information. Many of these weeks will fill quickly, so take a look now, then sign up your child for a summer they won’t forget!

“When we teach our students and campers at Turner Hill we try to give them the best foundation and skills possible to handle and understand horses in a safe, individualized, fun way. Not only are we, the instructors, teachers, but also the horses in our program. Together we teach about life, teamwork, compassion, leadership, confidence, setting goals, and kindness to name just a few. We hope that children that come to our barns and enroll in our programs are able, not just to have good summer memories they will never forget, but also to learn things that they will never stop using, whether they are at school, work, out with their family or spending a few hours at the barn.” ~website
