Whenever my mom made her BBQ hamburgers, a side dish of coleslaw was usually served alongside. There are two coleslaw recipes my mom is known for in our family. This recipe happens to be my personal favorite. I think because it goes well with any meat served with it, and it tastes so good! I hope you enjoy it!

Ingredients
1/2 cup mayonnaise (not salad dressing)
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup buttermilk
2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 1/4 tablespoons white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
8 cups finely chopped cabbage
1/2 cup shredded carrot
2 tablespoons finely minced Vidalia onion

Directions
Finely chop: cabbage and carrots

Mix together in large bowl: mayonnaise, sugar, milk, buttermilk, lemon juice, vinegar, salt and pepper. Beat till creamy.

Add cabbage, carrots, and onions. Mix well.

Cover, refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Note: This dish tastes better if made a day ahead.
