Leeda Northeast is a residential and day service provider for individuals with developmental disabilities. We have been providing services for 15 years with an original focus on residential living so those with DD can avoid living in nursing homes or institutions. In 2007, we opened a day program for adults as well so we could train individuals and provide them with community employment opportunities. It has since grown into a very successful undertaking for both programs. Our programs are person centered; we look at each individual in attendance and base programming on their needs and wants.
Direct Service Professionals Needed
As a Direct Service Provider, you will teach skills that promote independence and community integration through training in activities of daily living, vocational and habilitation training, fine and gross motor skills, and sensory training, to name a few.
We provide all training including;
- an introduction to the field of developmental disabilities
- skill development
- behavioral intervention

- medication administration
Applicants must have HS Diploma or GED, valid driver license, reliable transportation, automobile insurance, be drug free, and have a strong work ethic. We offer sick time, 401K, mileage reimbursement, and other benefits depending on employment status. We typically hire part-time with promotion to full-time from within the agency.
We are a drug free and EEO workplace.
