I’ve found that life doesn’t always go the way we plan it to go. Sometimes we find ourselves at weird junctures and difficult precipices, wondering how we’ve gotten there, and what to do about it. It is in these moments that we sometimes need an extra push, a little more motivation, and a little more courage to step forward again.
Today you might be finding yourself at one of those weird junctures. You might be discouraged or overburdened with what life has handed you this week, this month, and this year. I don’t want you to be upset, or give up. It’s just a bump in the road, sometimes you just need to take a step back and remember that there’s hope. Don’t give up yet.
I like to think about others that have struggled in the past and succeeded when I reach points where I’m not sure what to do. Thomas Edison is one of my favorites. He has said some very important things that have stuck with me:
“Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.”

He also realized that persistence matters in a big way:
“I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” ~ Thomas A. Edison
When you are at your breaking point, don’t give up. It’s at these times that we need to remember that success is just around the corner. Persistence will get you through and will help you achieve your goal.

Don’t give up. Don’t let go of your goals. Don’t let anyone steal your dreams from you. No matter what you are facing today, don’t let go. Your success will come, and it is in your hand at the moment you take one more step, get up, try again, and keep showing up.
Showing up is half the battle, and sticking with it is the other half.
Carry on my friend. Stick to your goals, stick to your principles, and keep moving forward. I know that you can make it if you just take one more step, and keep pushing forward. Carry on my friend, carry on.
