Any chance I can get to sift through a friend or family members recipe books, I take it. Asking for a recipe that their family loves is usually a dish with an automatic seal of approval, that it is tasty, simple to make, and one that will be repeated often. My cousin Jess Gallagher is to thank for this dish, her family loves it, mine loves it, and yours should too!

INGREDIENT LIST:

8 oz. penne pasta
1 pound ground beef
6 slices bacon
1 10 3/4oz. can of tomato soup, undiluted
1 cup of Cheddar Cheese

DIRECTIONS:

Cook 8 oz. of penne pasta, set aside

In a skillet:

Brown 1 pound of ground beef, set aside.

Cook 6 slices of bacon, pat dry, crumble when cool, set aside. Discard drippings.

Into the skillet place your cooked pasta, stir in soup, beef and bacon, heat through.

Once heated, top with 1 cup of shredded cheddar, allow to melt.

SUGGESTIONS: Add chopped green peppers and/or onion. Serve with sour cream.

Enjoy! “In the Kitchen with Sheryl”
