Enjoy the great fall menu at the The Pufferbelly Restaurant in Kent on Oct. 23 and help out NAMI Portage County at the same time. For the fourth year, The Pufferbelly will donate a portion of the night’s proceeds to the county wide advocacy group. NAMI Portage County is the local chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

Talking about the new baskets for the silent auction that goes on during the event are, left to right, Pufferbelly Manager Kevin Long, NAMI Board Member Alison Ward of Ravenna, President Karen Cox of Atwater Township and Tim Jarrell or Ravenna, a member. NAMI works to improve the lives of persons with mental illness and their families. For more information, go to www.namiportagecounty.org.
