November is National Peanut Butter Lover’s Month – and it’s almost over! Have you enjoyed your peanut butter this month? I hope so! Why not say goodbye to this month with a sweetness that has delighted peanut butter lovers for years – the original Reese’s Peanut Butter Chip Cookies!

PB cookiesIngredients:

3/4 cup butter or 1 cup shortening

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup light brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 eggs

2 cups unsifted flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

reese’s peanut butter chips (amount of your preference)

 

Directions:

1. Cream butter (or shortening), sugars, and vanilla until light and fluffy.

2. Add eggs and beat well.

3. Combine flour and baking soda.

4. Add to batter and mix well.

5. Stir in chips.

6. Place by teaspoon fulls onto ungreased cookie sheet.

7. Bake 350°F for 10-12 minutes.
