Corporal Brian Gregory (left) has been selected as “Hiram Police Department Officer of the Year” by his peers for 2013.
Cpl. Gregory has continually shown that he is willing to go above and beyond and has dedicated himself to serving as a mentor to the other officers of the Hiram Police Department. He is instrumental with the development and organization of Hiram Police Department’s website www.hirampolice.org. He created and maintains the website and continually adds updates and information.
Cpl. Gregory is also extremely active with Hiram Police Department community programs. He is a model image for other members of the Hiram Police Department. “Cpl. Gregory is always willing to help in any way that he can,” Chief Samec added.
Also recognized is Patrolman Bob Leiendecker for “Exceptional Service.” Ptl. Leiendecker is extremely active within the Reserve Officer ranks of the Hiram Police Department as well as assuming responsibility for the Hiram PD patrol fleet. “Ptl. Leiendecker is a huge asset to Hiram PD and the Hiram community. He is very active with community programs, community details, and does an excellent job maintaining our patrol fleet,” Chief Ed Samec said.
