We’ll have a great lineup of vendors again this week, February 22, and with the warming trend, the market will be full of fresh produce soon! Thank you to everyone who has supported us through these challenging deep winter weeks of 2014.

Remember, breakfast and lunch are available, as well as coffee and pastries, and you are invited to bring a knit or crochet project and join our friends from Standing Rock Cultural Arts in the seating area for fiber arts and conversation.

This week, SCRATCH Free Range Food will be set up inside the market again. Enjoy freshly rolled and toasted corn tortillas with a plethora of toppings you know you can’t resist! These are tacos like you’ve never had before! $3 each, or 2 for $5. Nachos are $5.

Breakfast: Eggs benedict with a fresh slice of crusty grilled bread from Bonny, a couple slices of Duma’s canadian bacon, and a couple of eggs with queso and salsa

Lunch: Taco Bar

Start with a hand rolled tortilla or fresh fried tortilla chips, and choose your toppings from the following:

  • seasoned ground beef
  • shredded chicken with green chilis
  • cilantro rice
  • black beans
  • fresh salsa
  • fresh guac
  • sour cream
  • greens
  • queso sauce
  • and more!

Katrina will also be selling the last few tickets to the SCRATCH Farm to Table Supper during the market. To learn about the Scratch Supper Club, which meets a couple of times each month at different locations, or to purchase a ticket online, visit the SCRATCH website.

Market vendors offer a wide selection of baked goods (including traditional, vegan, gluten free); goat, sheep, and cow milk cheeses; maple syrup and maple products; honey and honey products; herb vinegars and oils, jams and jellies; dried herbs; preserves; salsa, dip and baking mixes; locally roasted coffee and beans; hot and cold prepared foods, including local meats, eggs and cheese, and vegetarian and vegan, pastured meats and eggs; organic dry beans, corn meal, polenta, whole wheat flour, wheat berries; natural soaps, lotions, and bath products, candles, dog treats, hypertufas, and more!

The market welcomes the Ohio Direction Card and credit/debit cards are also welcome; customers may visit the market info table to swipe the card in exchange for market tokens.
