The Villager – On Friday, April 25, 2014, at the Ralph Regula Conference Center located at NEOMED in Rootstown, Ohio, the Portage County Literacy Coalition (PCLC) will host the 23rd annual “Jeopardy-Style” Spelling Bee

Adults from businesses from the Portage County area compete against each other in this fun event that raises money for literacy. You will hear words like “subfusc” or “frugal” as teams battle to the bitter end to hold that trophy and Spelling Bee Champ title for a year.

Make sure you mark the date on your calender and join The Portage County Literacy Coalition for spelling fun! Don’t forget there are many ways you can participate. We need teams, volunteers, donations, or you can purchase a ticket and come out to enjoy a delicious lunch and cheer on your favorite team.

For more information regarding The Portage County Literacy Coalition or the Spelling Bee, please call (330) 235-0020.
