The Kent Historical Society is hosting a Town & Garden Tour on June 7 and 8. The event will feature some of Kent’s most unique and historic homes and gardens within walking distance of downtown Kent.

Included will be such places as W.W. Reed’s home, Daisy Wolcott’s lilac garden on West Main St., Mildred & Cecil Bumphrey’s home on Columbus St. and the Mae Prentice house on the KSU esplanade. Also on the tour will be unique urban living spaces at Acorn Corner and the Landmark Apartments above Bricco.
Volunteers are needed to help with our Town and Garden Tour. If you wish to be a volunteer please call (330) 678-2712 for details. When you volunteer, it will be for 3 hour shifts. You will check tickets or give directions.
