The Hiram Police Department along with AAA will be holding a driver safety course for adults who are 60 and over on Monday, July 28 and Wednesday, July 30, 2014. The 8 hour course is approved by the state of Ohio. Those who attend both days and the full 8 hours are eligible to receive an insurance discount.
Meet other seniors, learn, and haver fun while doing so! Topics include:
- Adjust your car to better fit YOU
- Make better decisions behind the wheel
- Become more confident and relaxed
- New driving laws and signs
- Safety devices on your car that you DON’T know about!
Both days begin at 10:00 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. with a one hour break form noon to 1 pm.
Cost is $10.00 for AAA members and $15.00 for non-members. Course is held at the Hiram Police Department, 11617 Garfield Road, Hiram, Ohio 44234.
