How are your pie baking skills?

Practice up, especially on that peach variety, because on Saturday, August 9, you need to be at the Peach Social in Garrettsville, and your pie needs to be there by 4:30!

From 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm you can treat yourself to tons of sweet drippy peaches from Monroe Orchards, homemade peach pie, and ice cream from Sky Plaza IGA. Sixty pies are expected to be devoured at this year’s event! So if you can bake a mean pie, then you need to do so and get it over to the Garrettsville Fire Station before the crowd starts to pour in. One pie is all they ask from you talented bakers and, though they’re hoping for 60, wouldn’t it be awesome if they ended up with 100! Then you could have seconds!

While you enjoy the pie, you can wander around and look at the cool classics (cars) and listen to the music, all in the much-loved town of Garrettsville.

Make plans now to attend, tell friends, and set aside August 9 from 5 – 8 pm for a peachy keen night of fun. Bring the whole family!

Now…go find that recipe….
