Meatloaf is one of those meals that everyone makes differently. I have found that the recipe I’ve created is my favorite (maybe I’m a bit biased), plus it’s super easy and cheap!
Ingredients:
1 package of Lipton’s Onion Soup Mix (or generic brand)
2 lbs of ground beef
¾ cup plain dry bread crumbs
2 eggs
½ onion, diced
1 tbs Italian seasoning
2 cans tomato soup
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine all ingredients and mix in a large bowl. Shape the mix into a loaf in a 13 x 9 Pyrex dish.
Pour both cans of tomato soup over the loaf. Cover with foil and cook for 1 hour.
**After meatloaf is completed, you can add a little bit of milk into the pan to create a gravy with the tomato soup. This dish is great with mashed potatoes!
