MENTOR, OH (May 14, 2020) Recognizing the need for organizations to fundraise with a lack of options during the pandemic, owners Ryan and Ashley O’Hare of Moe’s Southwest Grill got creative when thinking of how they could help others with their fundraising efforts. “We are all about the food and the family experience which is why our new Build Your Own Taco Kit is perfect to offer as a fundraising option. Easy, convenient and plenty of food and fun,” states Ryan O’Hare.
After becoming aware of a fundraiser the Redline Club, Mentor High School’s football boosters, had to cancel due to COVID-19, the O’Hares reached out offering to host a Pop-Up Taco Kit event by the stadium. “I loved the idea right out of the gate,” states Mentor’s new head football coach, Matt Gray. “It is fun, creative and gives me the opportunity to say “hello” to those interested in supporting Mentor football.” Coach Gray will be at the front of the pick-up line sporting his Mentor gear and of course performing social distancing.
This is an easy, convenient way to get dinner and support the high school football team. For every taco kit
purchased, $5 will be donated back to the Redline Club. Each taco kit serves 4-6 and comes with 12 soft flour tortillas, your choice of 2 proteins, lettuce, shredded cheese, pico de gallo, rice, beans, sour cream and of course a bowl of Moe’s famous queso. As usual, the chips and salsa are on Moe’s!

About Moe’s Southwest Grill
“Welcome to Moe’s!” More than 20 years ago the Southwest fare restaurant opened in Atlanta, Georgia with these very words and still today, this is the greeting received when entering Moe’s because well, everybody should feel welcomed. To date there are more than 700 locations in the U.S. and abroad but here on the east side of Cleveland there are four which are locally owned and operated by the O’Hare family. Over the last 6 years the O’Hares have grown from a single east side of Mentor restaurant in 2015 to four locations with the additional three being in Mayfield Heights, South Euclid and a second Mentor location. Moe’s guests can create whatever they’re craving with the 20+ fresh ingredients. Famous for burritos, queso and the free chips and salsa that come with every order, the new Moe’s Build Your own Taco Kit is soon to be added to the favorites list.
