Known for terrific Mexican food, awesome tacos and committed to community, Moe’s Southwest Grill has combined the three and designed a taco kit fundraising program which has helped over 80 local schools and organizations with their fundraising.
Recognizing the need for organizations to fundraise with a lack of options during this past year and with the pandemic, owners Ryan and Ashley O’Hare of Moe’s Southwest Grill’s Mentor, Mayfield Heights and South Euclid locations, got creative when thinking of how they could help others with their fundraising efforts. “We are all about the food and family experience which is why our Build Your Own Taco Kit is perfect to offer as a fundraising option. Easy, convenient and plenty of food and fun,” states Ryan O’Hare.
Each taco kit serves 4-6 and comes with 12 soft flour tortillas, your choice of 2 proteins, lettuce, shredded cheese, Pico de Gallo, rice, beans, sour cream and of course a bowl of Moe’s famous queso. As usual, the chips and salsa are included and are compliments of Moe’s! Taco kits are $34.99.
Teaming up with Moe’s means a simple process with a substantial return. Moe’s supplies the marketing materials and link for orders to be placed and paid for online. The fundraising organization simply picks a date, markets the event and shares the online ordering link to all its members and supporters. Taco kits are picked up by the purchaser at the Moe’s location chosen by the organization. For every taco kit sold, the fundraising organization gets 25% of the sale and many people get a happy and full tummy!
