The following will count towards your Wild Hikes Challenge:

Come tour Camp Spelman on August 23 at 1 p.m. We’ve had this 58-acre property available for limited scout camping, but it still needs a lot of improvement and has great potential. Join Executive Director Christine Craycroft for a hike to help plan for the future development of Chagrin Headwaters Preserve on August 30 at 1 p.m. This 95-acre property includes the Aurora Branch of the Chagrin River and is a potential trailhead for a future extension of the Headwaters Trail. Park at the Cantex lot across the street,  at 11444 Chamberlain Rd, Mantua Township.

There’s a lot to explore in the 504 acre property of Morgan Preserve. Its mature woods and high-quality wetlands, it is not usually open to the public. On Sept. 6 at 1 p.m., join Executive Director Christine Craycroft on a hike to help plan for its future development as a park.
