This Saturday, August 3, marks the 11th Annual Charlestown Summer Festival and Car Show. The fun goes from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Charlestown Township Park on Rock Spring Rd. just North of the intersection of Newton Falls Rd. The cars begin to line up at 2 p.m. with judging beginning at 4 p.m. and awards at 6:30.
There is fun for all ages at the festival including interactive activities such as a climbing wall, the eurobungy, a bounce house, bucking bull ride and more. Tickets are $1 each or a wrist band can be purchased for $5 for unlimited access. Jungle Terry and his exotic animals will entertain at 4 p.m.
We are thrilled to present the Steve Cipriano Band at 5:30 for your enjoyment. Steve was born and raised in Ravenna and plays a blend of rock, blues and soul. Listen HERE to several of his songs.
There will also be delicious food, so come hungry! You can choose Italian sausage, pulled pork or hot dog sandwiches. There will be pizza, Kettle Corn, Hawaiian Shave Ice, a bake sale and more. A raffle ticket may be purchased for $5 for a chance to win an ipad mini.
Admission is free. This event is family friendly and very affordable.
