Who Are Citizens for Portage Parks?
We are community members advocating for a 1/2 mill operating levy for Portage County Parks.
Levy funds will be used to:
- Maintain and repair parks and trails to ensure safe, enjoyable experiences for all, all year long
- Improve over 800 acres of lands already owned by the Park District, but not yet publicly accessible
- Conserve critical natural areas for wildlife habitat and water quality protection
- Plan and create new parks and trails in partnership with communities across Portage County
- Provide programs for healthy recreation and nature education, for all ages
Please help us win the fight for fun, for health, for life.
