Developing a fitness mindset in a child while they are very young is the best way to create life long habits that will make an enormous difference in achieving the best quality of life possible. We certainly don’t need to discuss the merits of a physically fit body since it’s plastered everywhere these days – on all the media, schools, doctor offices and just about anywhere else you go!

Starting your child on the path to fitness, especially while toddlers, must include a good dose of fun along with the discipline in order for them to develop a genuine love for it. That’s where Candance Academy comes in!

For the Tiny Dancers

Tot classes at Candance are designed for ages 2-5. In these classes students will begin to learn proper technique, discipline, and terminology. You may choose any combo class offered as well as an individual acro/ tumbling class.

For the Ladies

Candance has Saturday morning classes to start your weekend off right! Try one or two, or stay the full three hours and take all four!

Tap, Hip Hop, and Zumba will certainly get your heart rate going and will expose you to a whole new world of movement – especially if you choose them all. You’ll learn enough to practice through the week and then, if you like, add the Wednesday evening Zumba class for extra workout fun.

Zumba is one of the fastest growing fitness crazes in the country right now which features movements inspired by various styles of Latin American dance and performed primarily to Latin American dance music. Lots of fun!

Yoga is a form of anaerobic exercise that involves a program of precise posture, breathing exercises, and meditation. Don’t think it won’t be challenging though. This is a gentler approach to fitness, but it still provides equal results. Some of the benefits you’ll receive include more flexibility, improved posture, breathing relaxation, stress reduction, increased strength, and lowered heart rate.

Both yoga and Zumba can be taken on a drop-in basis if you like, making it even easier to participate. Check the website for more details.

8:30-9:00 Adult Tap
9:00-9:30 Adult Hip-Hop
9:30-10:30 Zumba (Wed. 7:30 – 8:30)
10:30-11:30 Yoga
