The Portage Park District has contracted for major improvements to the PORTAGE Hike & Bike Trail section from Oakwood St. in Ravenna to Lake Rockwell Rd. in Franklin Township.
The trail closed for asphalt paving on Monday, Oct. 26, and will re-open Friday, Dec. 11. This closed portion of the trail totals 3.58 miles. For safety reasons, the Park District asks that citizens do not try to access this portion of the trail during construction.
