Crestwood School Is A “Google District”

This school year the Crestwood District began using Google Apps for Education and is a “Google District.” The technology department has been hard at work ensuring a smooth transition and we are continuing to add applications for our teachers and students to use.

Mantua Volunteers Make a Difference

As a part of the Make A Difference Day national day of service, October 25th, volunteers joined forces to complete a myriad of projects in Mantua. Birding Series With Portage Parks

The Portage Park District is offering a series of programs to introduce the world of bird watching. “We’re calling it Birding for the Ordinary Average Guy/Gal,” says Christine Craycroft, Executive Director. “No fancy equipment needed, no Latin names, just a way to get to know and enjoy your local feathered friends.”

Last week the state of Ohio recognized James A. Garfield Elementary students, teachers, staff, administration and community for maintaining high academic achievement. They were named a School of Promise as well as a High Performing School of Honor.
