School might be back in session, but summer isn’t over just yet. There are tons of things that you can squeeze into those last few moments and make them memorable. Here are our favorite last minute things to do to make the most of your summer’s end.
- See a Show
The best thing about Northeastern Ohio is just how creative it is. One of the most creative spots in Northeast Ohio is Playhouse Square. Located in Downtown Cleveland, it’s the second largest theater district in the US. There are plenty of shows playing there all of the time, and a lot of different price options for you and your family. Even if you don’t see one of the bigger productions while you’re there, there are plenty of other things to do in the area keep you and your family entertained!
- Catch a Band
Another great thing to do while the weather this nice and warm is to see some live music. You can go see a major popular band, or you could see a local band right in your neighborhood! Depending on what town and neighborhood you’re in, there’s a large selection of bands to choose from. Don’t be afraid to branch out and look around. You never know what you might find!
- Catch a Game
There’s so much to look forward to when you go to a game. There’s the food, the experience, the merchandise, and, of course, the actual game. Try and get your family out to a Cleveland Indians game, or any major or minor league game in your area. It’s bound to be a blast.
- Visit The Park
Never underestimate the simple things. Going to the park can be a blast for your whole family! Northeast Ohio has a large amount of both state and local parks to choose from, so you’re never at a loss for where to go. With each park comes an endless amount of possibilities.
- Go to the Beach
Nothing says summer like going to the beach. Since it’s such a simple suggestion, most people totally forget about it until it’s too late. So, take a weekend and go to the beach when you get the chance. You won’t regret it.
